The Community Engagement & Special Events department strives to bring residents together to engage in fellowship and fun. This is achieved through a variety of family-friendly events highlighting the talented individuals in our region (artists, musicians, food vendors, etc.) throughout the year.

Movies In The Park are back! Illumination Entertainment’s “Minions” will be shown Friday, June 9 in the Recreation Center parking lot.
Arkadelphia Festival of the Arts
The Arkadelphia Festival of the Arts (AFOTA) is the premier event in the City of Arkadelphia. The two-day festial is a celebration of the visual, culinary and musical arts, and highlights local and regional talent.
AFOTA was selected as the Arkansas Festivals and Events Association’s 2021 Best New Festival or Event. The City of Arkadelphia is proud to receive statewide recognition for this event, and looks forward to growing AFOTA even more in 2022.

Host Your Events Downtown
Organizations and individuals are welcome to use city spaces to host special events, however, a special events request form must be completed and approved before doing so.
