Annual Doggie Dip set for Saturday, September 10

Summer is coming to a close which means it’s almost time for the annual Doggie Dip!

Arkadelphia Parks and Recreation will be hosting its annual Doggie Dip at the Aquatic Park on Saturday, September 10 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Admission is free, but up-to-date rabies vaccinations are required for entry. Animal Control will be on site checking rabies tags to ensure the safety of all attendees.

The Doggie Dip will double as a fundraiser for the Arkadelphia Animal Shelter and Humane Society of Clark County, Arkadelphia. Those interested in donating are encouraged to bring the following items:

  • Dog food
  • Cat food
  • Towels
  • Blankets
  • Pet toys
  • Pet treats
  • Leashes
  • Collars
  • Pet shampoo

Monetary donations will also be accepted.

The pool will be open to dogs, but CLOSED to people.
