Parks & Rec gift wrapping event to benefit local animal rescue

The City of Arkadelphia’s Parks and Recreation department is hosting a holiday gift wrapping event to benefit the Humane Society of Clark County, Arkadelphia.

The second annual “Let’s Wrap It Up!” gift wrapping event is ongoing at the Recreation Center.

To participate, area residents must bring a donation for the Humane Society of Clark County, Arkadelphia and their unwrapped gifts to the Recreation Center. Once a donation has been received, the gifts will be wrapped and returned to the participant.

Acceptable donation items include, but are not limited to:

  • Pet food
  • Treats
  • Toys
  • Towels
  • Blankets
  • Beds
  • Collars
  • Leashes
  • Training pads

Monetary donations will also be accepted.

Those interested in participating are invited to bring their donations and gifts to the Recreation Center during its normal hours of operation.

The deadline to participate is Friday, December 23 at 5:00 p.m.
