Movies in the Park are coming back to Arkadelphia, Arkansas.

The city’s Parks and Recreation Department announced today plans to host its third annual summer movie series at the Recreation Center.

The drive-in style event started during the COVID-19 pandemic and is now a staple for the department.

“Drive-in movies are a classic summer pastime and something the entire family can enjoy,” Parks and Recreation Director Stuart Tapson said. “We’re excited to continue this series and hope our residents enjoy the movies we’ve selected.”

The first Movie in the Park will be Illumination Entertainment’s “Minions” on Friday, June 9 at 8:30 p.m. Additional dates and movies will be announced at a later time.
