South Central Connect to “light up” Town Hall this holiday season

Town Hall is getting a new look this holiday season.

Local high-speed internet company South Central Connect is creating an elaborate holiday light display for outside of Town Hall and the area leading up to it.

The display features thousands of lights and will complement the city’s 30-foot Christmas tree.

According to South Central Connect’s PR Coordinator and Media Specialist Shelley Tucker, crews are hard at work finalizing the details of the display so it can be ready for its December 1 reveal.

“We wanted to do something special to bring smiles to the faces of our community,” Tucker said. “This has been a hard year for many. South Central Connect wanted to ‘light up’ Arkadelphia to help promote the Christmas Spirit in our area.”

One of the key features of South Central Connect’s design is a lighted archway residents and visitors can walk through. The archway will also serve as a way to “connect” Town Hall to the city’s newest holiday attraction, Prancer’s Plaza.

“This will be a great tradition that we’re thankful to have a part in,” Tucker said.

South Central Connect’s light display will go live on Thursday, December 1. The lighting of Town Hall joins a stacked evening of holiday events, including the Annual Christmas Parade, Prancer’s Plaza ribbon cutting and more.
