Arkadelphia’s Parks and Recreation department is growing.
Starting Monday, October 31, yoga classes will be offered at the Recreation Center.
Led by instructor LeAnn Savage, “Savage Strong” is an action-packed combo class set to music, featuring chair exercise/yoga and low impact aerobics.
Savage Strong is the third fitness class the department has added to its offerings this year. Parks and Recreation began offering Zumba and circuit training classes in mid-2022. The department also renovated its fitness area, unveiling new resistance training machines and dumbbells, earlier this year.
Savage Strong will be held at the Recreation Center on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays at 8:30 a.m. and at 4:15 p.m. Classes are free for members. Non-members will have to pay a $5 per class fee.
