Dexter B. Florence Memorial Field is a city-owned, public-use airport located one nautical mile (2 km) south of the central business district of Arkadelphia. The airport includes a 5,000-foot runway and a full-length taxiway. Conventional and T-hangars are offered at the airport, along with self-service fuel. The airport includes administrative and educational facilities that serve the Henderson State University Aviation program.
Terminal Building
In 2023, city officials hosted a grand opening celebration honoring the new terminal building at the Arkadelphia Municipal Airport.
The 1,600 square foot building features a large lobby area, pilot’s room, conference room, manager’s office, break area and two restrooms.
Local residents are invited to experience the new terminal building and airport during its normal hours of operation.
