What do I do with my trash bags for trash pick-up days?
Residents are asked to place their trash at 7:00 AM close to the curb the morning of trash pick up. This prevents animals from tearing into the trash and causing unsightly and unsanitary conditions.
City Ordinance No. B-389, Section 4.3c states “On collection days only, residents will place filled bags on property owned, rented or under their control, at a point as near the curb line as practical.”
What days of the week are trash pick-up days?
Collection Days are split up on a Monday/Thursday Pick up Schedule and a Tuesday/Friday pick up schedule. The Sanitation Pickup Days map is attached below.

- Tree limbs only. Must be less than 10 feet long.
- No trunks or logs, or spoils of timber/tree removal. Tree trunks, stumps, and spoils from the tree removal are to pay the same fees as listed on item 7 below.
- Must be by the curb, not in the street. Do not obstruct any utility meters or wire, etc.
- No bagged leaves.
- We cannot pick up tires, batteries, shingles, demolished building materials, cardboard, cross ties or trash bags.
- Commercial customers are allowed one pick-up per quarter. Additional pick-ups can be made at a minimum fee of $75.00 per truck trip to the site plus landfill fees ($25.75 per ton or $44.00 per ton if paper products are mixed with the debris).
