The Building Department administers and enforces regulatory codes and ordinances to protect the citizens of Arkadelphia from health and building hazards. This is done through the issuance of permits for all types of work involved in the construction or repair of any structure, and the enforcement of all codes for building, fire, electrical, gas, plumbing, mechanical and housing.

Mobile Vendors
We love welcoming mobile vendors and food trucks to our community, but there are a few forms you need to fill out before you can serve within city limits.
Prior to serving from a mobile food truck within city limits, you must have approval from a approved dump site for your truck’s waste water.
Please submit a letter of approval from the dump site when you turn in your other documents.
Transient merchants must complete a background check with Arkansas State Police prior to selling within city limits.
