ARKADELPHIA, Ark. – An alternative traffic route has been established at the site of the city’s drainage project at Caddo and 27th Street.

As of Thursday, October 13, 27th Street from Pine Street to Caddo Street is closed to thoroughfare traffic.

27th Street can be used to access the following businesses:

  • US Bank
  • Farm Bureau Insurance
  • Hardman Interiors

To access these businesses, motorists will have to drive around the road closure barrier at Pine and 27th Street. Drivers are asked to proceed with caution while this in area.

Heartland Pharmacy cannot be accessed using 27th Street. Motorists in need of the pharmacy must use the entrance on Caddo Street.

City officials anticipate 27th Street to reopen by Tuesday, October 18.
